For me, this drill worked great. Unlike others, I found the grip comfortable, and aside from the chuck lock being recessed and hard to press, that also worked fine for me. It's an inexpensive drill, so one would expect a lot of problems with it. That's not the case. The only thing I hate is the depth stop and auxiliary handle. First of all, the scale printed on it is metric. The world may use that system, and I use it occasionally, but it's inconvenient to stop and calculate how many cm a 3-1/4" lag bolt is. Also, the depth stop is pretty far away from the drill bit, so it's difficult to gauge how much it is offset.Second, the depth stop locking mechanism is difficult. You have to unscrew the handle, and push or pull to allow the stop to be adjusted. It tends to get stuck, so you usually have to completely unscrew the handle and jiggle it to free the depth stop.Lastly, if you're left-handed and want the aux. handle on the right side, (meaning your left hand is at 6:00 and your right hand is at 3:00), you can't do it without removing or fully extending the depth stop. When it's retracted, the stop hits the housing well before the handle is at 3:00.. This means left hand is at 6:00 and right hand is at 1:00, which is incredibly awkward and uncomfortable.
