Good construction but pricey - probably because of low demand for this item. I would have been happier to find one with rubber-coated fiberglass handle to lessen the vibration, but this one works fine. Appears to be good steel - did not dull fast. BEWARE - if you are not used to hammering stop as soon as you first start feeling sore muscles - overdo with this and you could do some serious muscle damage and carpal tunnel syndrome issues, as it is much heavier than a normal hammer and no vibration reduction. I always use with HEAVY lined leather gloves to reduce vibration and then is OK for 20 minutes or so at a time. Of course, if doing a large area get a bush hammer attachement for jackhammer or SDS impact drill, but this does not grow legs and walk off like power tools do. Hint - if you use it so much ithe tips dull, you can resharpen these tools fairly easy, (but with lots of sparks) by using a thin blade in a 4" hand grinder or die grinder and recut the teeth at 45 degree angel, going each way on each side.
