I purchased this tool to drive out stubborn subframe bushes and axles. My previous cold chisel and hammer approach was tiresome and time consuming. The 122 works perfectly and saves a lot of time and frustration.The short barrel/fast blow rate design means it remains easy to control but has enough grunt to get the job done. It is nicely balanced, vibration is low, it is precise and the trigger is easy to feather.If you're toying with buying a cheaper item I'd recommend against it. The cheaper items are noisy, hard to handle, unreliable and often don't get the job done. I also hate the beehive bit retainers on cheap air hammers. In contrast the 122 is a tool will you enjoy using.The quick change on this tool works well. If you carefully nip up each of the retaining screws evenly you won't have issues with it loosening with vibration.Should you buy the tool by itself or in kit form? I like the kit. The case is handy for storage/transportation and you get some decent chisels. They're not the best on the market but they're much better than the cheap ones out there. When looking for replacements or alternative bits - Mayhew or Old Forge, you can't go wrong.I hope the above helps.
